For nearly 25 years Stainton Metal has been supplying electricity companies around the world with custom designed and manufactured transmission and distribution poles. From a 0.4kV Low Voltage Distribution Line to a 400 kV Transmission Project we have the design expertise and manufacturing capabilities to deliver competitively priced structures on time.

We normally supply Distribution poles in, either, octagonal, conical or stepped tubular construction, galvanised inside and out with additional root treatment where required.

Transmission Structures, depending upon design loadings, can either be tubular or polygonal, single pole or H frame construction and again galvanised for corrosion protection.

In addition to supplying the steel poles and crossarms we will be happy to supply a full package:- conductors, insulators, insulator fittings, switch gear, surge arrestors, guys, anti climbing devices etc. You can be rest assured whatever we supply will be technically compatible, go together on site and best of all be competitive.

Our design expertise not only covers pole and crossarm design, we are more than able to assist in sag and tension calculations and foundation design.
